Researchers at Universitas Diponegoro conducted a study in 2023 to determine factors associated with chronic energy deficiency (CED) in pregnant women in North Gorontalo Regency. The study included 115 respondents from the Ilangata Health Center area, 80 from Monano Health Center, and 55 from Molingkapoto Health Center. Results indicated that most respondents had insufficient energy intake, adequate protein intake, and did not experience infectious diseases, with many having a monthly income over Rp. 2,000,000 and gaining 6 kg during pregnancy. The research also found that respondents infrequently used health insurance, lived far from health centers, and experienced chronic energy deficiency. [Extracted from the article] |
