Researchers from Genentech Inc. conducted a study on predicting and clustering Alzheimer's disease based on race and sex using a multi-head deep-learning approach. The study aimed to analyze heterogeneous data and identify predictors of disease progression. The research found that a multi-head and early-fusion convolutional neural network achieved high accuracy in predicting disease progression, with 97% test accuracy and 96% F1 score. This study provides valuable insights into understanding Alzheimer's disease progression and risk factors among different population subsets. [Extracted from the article] |
