Researchers at the Federal University Juiz De Fora in Brazil conducted a study on the potential of Stachys byzantina as a cosmetic and therapeutic ingredient for delaying skin aging and treating hyperpigmentation disorders. The plant extract showed antioxidant properties and inhibited enzymes related to skin aging, such as tyrosinase, hyaluronidase, and elastase.
