A study conducted by Weifang Medical University in Shandong, China, focused on the role of decreased DIO3OS expression in hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) and its association with immune infiltration. The research found that HCC patients had significantly lower DIO3OS expression compared to healthy individuals, with high DIO3OS expression correlating with better prognosis and higher survival rates in HCC patients. The study suggests that DIO3OS could serve as a novel biomarker and potential therapeutic target for individuals with liver cancer. [Extracted from the article] |
