Abstrakt: A recent study conducted at the University of South Carolina explored the associations between an HDL apolipoproteomic index and cardiometabolic risk factors before and after exercise training in healthy adults. The study found that a higher HDL apolipoproteomic index was associated with a worse cardiometabolic profile at baseline but improved with regular exercise. These findings suggest that HDL apolipoproteins could be potential therapeutic targets for lifestyle interventions, especially in high-risk individuals. The research was supported by the National Institutes of Health (NIH) in the United States and has been peer-reviewed. [Extracted from the article]
