The article "Chemical Constituents from Euryale ferox Aril with Anti-Glycation Activity" published in the Chemistry of Natural Compounds journal discusses the isolation and identification of 13 compounds from the aril of Euryale ferox, a plant with various pharmacological effects. These compounds were tested for anti-glycation activity in vitro, with polyphenolic compounds showing better results than ergosterols and cerebrosides. The study was conducted in China and was supported by grants from the open fund of Jiangsu Key Laboratory of Regional Resource Exploitation and Medicinal Research. [Extracted from the article] |
