Abstrakt: |
Let {an} and {bn} be sequences of positive integers. For each positive integer n, defined an+1 to be the cube of the number of positive factors of an and defined bn+1 to be the forth of the number of positive factors of bn. This article proves that (i) if an > 1, then an is eventually the fixed point or periodic cycle of prime period 2; (ii) if bn > 1, then bn is eventually the fixed point. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR] |
