Abstrakt: This study aims to assess the workplace equality among academicians towards Education sector at Chennai. In this survey, we used a quantitative survey method using a Google Forms survey from the target individuals and through Questionnaire directly from employees working at education sector with a sample size of 500 academicians. It throws light on the important variables of study that is a multi-dimension-based index comprised by five dimensions--Empowerment, Education, Health, Violence, and Time. This study's primary goal is to explain how academicians' perspectives of gender equality relate to one another. This study's goal is to propose a paradigm for evaluating gender disparity in the education sector that shows how the gender balance in this academic setting is changing. The proposed study will advance gender equality among academicians by using statistical tests such as the Chi Square Test, Correlation Test, Regression Test, One Way ANOVA, Mann Whitney U test, etc. These tests provide a user-friendly way to assess the presence of gender inequality, summarised into a single number but capable of being detailed in several levels and to provide insight into progression over time. In contrast to global indices, this research offers a new methodological paradigm for measuring gender disparity based on readily available data that is simple to use and comprehend. The study's findings are supported by its findings, which show that academicians who participated in the study perceive gender equality to be "strongly agree" in the sub-dimensions of empowerment, education, health, violence, and time, as well as "strongly agree" in workplace equality. Additionally, it was discovered that academicians' perceptions varied statistically significantly in accordance with demographic characteristics. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
