This article aims into the issues that Wireless Sensor Networks (WSNs) encounter due to the intrinsic limits of sensor nodes, such as limited energy and processing capabilities. The focus is on Heterogeneous Leach Protocols and how they affect metrics of network performance such as data delivery, network lifetime, and energy usage. The paper evaluates these protocols' flexibility and scalability in real-world heterogeneous contexts using extensive simulations and empirical assessments. Key aspects under scrutiny encompass the dynamic clustering of heterogeneous nodes, efficient data aggregation, and the resulting communication overhead. The research outcomes offer insights into the design and deployment of Heterogeneous Leach Protocols, providing a foundation for more robust and energy-efficient wireless network of nodes. As the demand for reliable and sustainable network grows across applications like smart cities and precision agriculture, the findings contribute valuable implications for diverse scenarios.
