A study conducted by Shanghai Jiao Tong University in China introduced an injectable dual-network hydrogel that activates platelet-rich plasma (PRP) for endometrial regeneration. The hydrogel sustained the release of growth factors, promoting endometrial cell proliferation and angiogenesis while reducing collagen deposition. In animal experiments, the PRP-hydrogel significantly improved endometrial regeneration and reproductive outcomes, suggesting a new therapeutic approach for endometrial repair. The research was funded by various organizations and has been peer-reviewed, offering potential advancements in women's health. [Extracted from the article] |
