Researchers at Shanxi Medical University in Taiyuan, China, have developed a novel theranostics nanoagent using Shanxi aged vinegar as a raw material for precise suppression of tumor growth and metastasis. This nanoagent enables targeted photothermal/photodynamic synergistic phototherapy guided by NIR-II FL/PA dual-modal imaging. The research provides a new design strategy for biomass-based nanoagents with potential clinical translation in tumor theranostics, offering a promising approach for future treatments.
