A recent study conducted at Sadguru Netra Chikitsalaya in Madhya Pradesh, India, focused on a rare case of diffuse infiltrative basal cell carcinoma of the eyelid in a 17-year-old boy. The research highlighted the atypical presentation of this type of cancer in adolescents, emphasizing the importance of early detection and proper management. The study concluded that the lesion was successfully treated with excision biopsy and amniotic membrane graft, with no signs of recurrence after an 8-month follow-up.
