Researchers at the Shenzhen Campus of Sun Yat-sen University have conducted a study on the Zika virus, focusing on the role of the FADD-like interleukin-1b converting enzyme (c-FLIP) in biological processes such as apoptosis and inflammation. The study compared transcriptome profiles in fetal brains of wild-type and c-Flip heterozygous knockout mice infected with Zika virus, revealing alterations in gene expression related to immune responses and organ development. This research provides insights into the impact of c-FLIP deficiency on Zika virus infection and its implications for health and medicine. [Extracted from the article] |
