A recent study conducted in Maharashtra, India, by the Department of Pediatric and Preventive Dentistry compared the use of rotary versus manual tools in primary tooth pulpectomy procedures. The meta-analysis of 20 randomized control trials found that rotary instrumentation yielded superior outcomes in terms of mean instrumentation time and obturation quality.
