The article discusses how agricultural land near solar and wind projects typically remains in agriculture after development. Between 2012 and 2020, a significant percentage of solar farms and wind turbines were installed on cropland in rural areas. The research shows that the impact on agricultural land cover is minimal, with most land staying in the same use after the installation of solar and wind projects.
