Abstrakt: Our goal is to produce biobutanol from lignocellulosic biomass in a crude state using Clostridium acetobutylicum and then compare the results to those from agricultural waste. Research tools and techniques: Hydrothermal treatment was applied to collected, dried, and powdered crude leaves in this investigation. After that, the material was acid hydrolyzed using diluted sulfuric acid to make enough simple sugar, which was further fermented with C. acetobutylicum to make biobutanol. The study utilised two independent sets of seven samples each, with 80% power and 95% confidence intervals. The study found that, under ideal conditions, biobutanol may be produced from crude biomass with a yield of 5.3 g/L. The sample t-test analysis also revealed that the independent variable had a p-value of 0.045, which is less than the significance level of 0.05. In conclusion, there is considerable promise for increasing the efficiency of the ABE fermentation process through the utilisation of lignocellulosic biomass as a substrate for biobutanol synthesis.
