This qualitative study delves into the intricate dynamics of prisoners' time management within the context of e-learning initiatives implemented in correctional facilities. With the growing integration of technology in educational programs for incarcerated individuals, understanding the challenges and opportunities related to time allocation is paramount. Through in-depth interviews, this research identifies the multifaceted factors influencing prisoners' ability to effectively manage their time in engaging with e-learning materials. The study utilized interviews to collect data within an interpretive paradigm. Transcribed verbatim by a skilled transcriber, the interviews were then interpreted thematically. The study focused on Namibia's legal system, which underwent notable shifts from punishment-oriented methods to ones emphasizing corrections and community reintegration. Moreover, the study investigates the diverse stakeholders involved in shaping the e-learning environment within prisons, including educators, administrators, correctional officers, and technology providers. By elucidating the complex interplay between prisoners' time management strategies and stakeholder involvement, this research contributes to the development of more tailored and effective elearning programs for incarcerated populations.
