A recent study conducted in Zhejiang, China, focused on developing a predictive model for vaginal birth after one prior cesarean section (VBAC). The research aimed to improve existing scoring models and identified factors such as gestational age at delivery, Bishop score, and newborn birth weight as key predictors for VBAC success. The study concluded that a nomogram predictive model incorporating these factors showed good efficacy and practical value in selecting suitable candidates for TOLAC after a single cesarean section. The findings provide valuable insights for clinical decision-making in obstetrics and gynecology. [Extracted from the article] |
