A recent study conducted by the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine focused on determining thrombin and plasmin activity in human blood plasma using turbidimetric analysis. The research proposed a method to calculate the coagulation component of thrombin activity and fibrinolytic activity of plasmin based on clot formation and dissolution curves. This method allows for the assessment of thrombin generation rate, plasmin activity, clot formation and dissolution times, and overall hemostasis potential.
