Abstrakt: | A study conducted at the Northern Ontario School of Medicine compared the use of second-generation MOSES 2.0 technology to MOSES 1.0 technology for holmium laser enucleation of the prostate (HoLEP) in patients with benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH). The research found that patients who underwent HoLEP with MOSES 2.0 technology had shorter enucleation and hemostasis times, lower laser energy usage, and comparable postoperative outcomes to those who underwent HoLEP with MOSES 1.0 technology. The study concluded that HoLEP with second-generation MOSES 2.0 technology is a safe and effective treatment option for BPH. [Extracted from the article] |
