A recent study conducted by researchers at Hubei University of Medicine in Shiyan, People's Republic of China, focused on evaluating patient-reported outcome measures (PROMs) for psychological birth trauma (PBT) in postpartum women. The study reviewed thirty-one studies and twelve PROMs, recommending the City BiTS tool for assessing PBT in clinical practice and research involving puerperae. While some PROMs received positive recommendations, further comprehensive studies are needed to validate the psychometric properties of existing measures. This research was published in the Psychology & Psychiatry Journal and has undergone peer review. [Extracted from the article] |
