Abstrakt:	A recent report from the University of Zurich discusses the role of CD38 in age-related vascular dysfunction, specifically focusing on endothelial dysfunction and arterial stiffness. The study found that CD38 expression was upregulated in aged mice and senescent human aortic endothelial cells, and inhibiting CD38 led to improved endothelial function through the eNOS pathway. Further research is ongoing to explore the molecular mechanisms and long-term effects of CD38 inhibition on age-related vascular dysfunction.
