A recent study conducted at Debre Tabor University in Ethiopia focused on the viral load undetectable state and predictors among children and adolescents living with HIV in South Gondar. The study found that factors such as CD4 count, ART adherence, nutritional status, and treatment failure significantly influenced the achievement of an undetectable viral load. The research emphasized the importance of aligning efforts with the WHO strategic plan to improve treatment outcomes for this vulnerable population. Stakeholders are encouraged to address the identified predictors to enhance care and support for children and adolescents living with HIV. [Extracted from the article] |
