Abstrakt: To date, the chemical composition of Cistanche salsa (C. A. Mey.) G. Beck, a plant native to the Khorezm region, has remained uninvestigated. This study aimed to comprehensively analyze the chemical constituents of C. salsa, cultivated in its natural habitat in Khorezm. The investigation encompassed the analysis of macro- and microelements, flavonoids, vitamins, and amino acids in the root, shoot, and flower systems of the plant. Comparative analysis was also conducted with C. salsa plants grown in other regions of the republic. The results revealed that the plant's composition is rich in essential elements, including potassium (170,477 mg/10 g), sodium (4,228 mg/10 g), calcium (24,267 mg/10 g), magnesium (6,160 mg/10 g), and phosphorus (7,486 mg/10 g). Notably, flavonoids such as Apigenin, Hypolaetin, Hyperazid, and Gallic acid were detected in the root, shoot, and flower systems, while Rutin was exclusively found in the flowers. Vitamins B2, B6, B9, B12 and PP, as well as vitamin C, were also identified in the flowers. Furthermore, a comprehensive analysis of the amino acid composition of the shoot, flower, and root parts of the plant revealed the presence of 20 different amino acids. The quantities of specific amino acids were determined, including Serine (4.564127 mg/g), Cysteine (5.416393 mg/g), Proline (12.986894 mg/g), Leucine (2.685912 mg/g), Glutamine (4.228558 mg/g), and Asparagine (3.323265 mg/g). This study demonstrates, for the first time, that C. salsa is rich in vitamins, macro- and micro-elements, flavonoids and amino acids, highlighting its potential as a valuable resource for further research and applications.
