Researchers from Southeast University in Nanjing, China, conducted a study on the influence of Mg+2 on the structure, microstructure, and magnetic interactions of zinc ferrite nanoparticles synthesized via a co-precipitation route. The addition of Mg dopant at the zinc site affected the crystallite size, lattice parameter, and magnetic properties of the nanoparticles. The research suggests potential applications of zinc ferrite nanoparticles in magnetic sensors, nanomedicine, optoelectronics, and memory devices. Financial support for the study came from Taif University in Saudi Arabia. [Extracted from the article] |
