Abstrakt: Researchers at the University of Phayao conducted a study on the antioxidant properties of Cleistocalyx nervosum var. paniala in mitigating oxidative stress and inflammation induced by PM10 soluble extract in trophoblast cells. The study found that the ethyl acetate fraction of C. nervosum demonstrated high phenolic and anthocyanin content, along with potent antioxidant activity, protecting trophoblast cells from PM10-induced damage. The research suggests that CN-EtOAcF could potentially be used in future therapeutic approaches to combat the harmful effects of air pollution on pregnancy outcomes. [Extracted from the article]
