Abstrakt: The article discusses a new entity called neonatal spindle-cell CD34-positive plaque-like tumour, characterized by NTRK gene fusion. The study conducted on 11 cases found that these tumours were mostly congenital or arose in the first month of life, with a benign clinical course. The tumours showed a distinct histological pattern and a common LMNA::NTRK1 fusion transcript, suggesting they may represent a unique subgroup of tumours among NTRK-rearranged spindle cell neoplasms. Further research is needed to determine the exact classification of these tumours within the spectrum of paediatric NTRK-rearranged spindle cell neoplasms. [Extracted from the article]
