The article discusses the results of an international survey on sun exposure behaviors and knowledge among outdoor workers in 17 countries. The study reveals that outdoor workers are at a higher risk of skin health issues due to sun exposure, with a significant disparity between their risk level and actual sun protection practices. Factors influencing sun protection measures among outdoor workers include awareness, attitudes, workplace policies, and access to resources. The findings emphasize the importance of public health measures and workplace policies to address UV-related risks for outdoor workers. [Extracted from the article] |
