A recent study conducted at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota compared the outcomes of direct anterior approach (DAA) versus mini-posterior approach (MPA) total hip arthroplasty over a 7.5-year period. The study found that there were no clinically meaningful differences in outcomes, complications, reoperations, or revisions between the two approaches.
