A recent study conducted at the University of Health Sciences in Istanbul, Turkey, examined the impact of childhood cancer on parental psychology. The study included 84 parents of children with cancer and found that hopelessness scores were higher among parents whose child's treatment had ended, while resilience scores were higher among parents whose child was recently diagnosed. The research emphasizes the importance of regularly assessing the mental health of parents of children with cancer throughout the treatment process. [Extracted from the article] |
