A recent study conducted at the University of Extremadura focused on the relationship between pain, depression, fatigue, and sleep problems with functional capacity, balance, and fear of falling in women with fibromyalgia. The research highlighted that symptom severity in fibromyalgia patients is primarily associated with perceptual and subjective aspects of physical condition and fall safety. The study utilized various tests and questionnaires to evaluate physical and perceptual aspects, revealing significant variations in perceived physical condition based on symptom severity. This research sheds light on the importance of addressing both physical and psychological aspects in the management of fibromyalgia. [Extracted from the article] |
