Several widespread myths accompanying modern research and development in the field of artificial intelligence (AI) are considered. Some judgments regarding the properties and capabilities of the so-called Large Language Models, strong AI, and the universal nature of approaches based on artificial neural networks are discussed. Three principles of scientific expertise organization are formulated, which make it possible to separate AI research and development from the mythological constructions accompanying them.
