A study conducted at the University of Colorado School of Medicine focused on the feasibility of a digital palliative care intervention called Convoy-Pal for older adults with heart failure and multiple chronic conditions, along with their caregivers. The research aimed to integrate caregivers into care through a 12-week digital self-management program. The study found that while recruiting informal caregivers was challenging, the intervention showed potential benefits for both patients and caregivers, with improved social functioning and positive perceptions of caregiving reported. Further research is needed to design digital tools that cater to multiple simultaneous users in palliative care. [Extracted from the article] |
