Abstrakt:	A recent study conducted by researchers at Hacettepe University focused on the effectiveness of a bi-weekly irinotecan regimen in treating relapsed or refractory small cell lung cancer (SCLC). The study included 100 advanced stage SCLC patients who received salvage irinotecan treatment every two weeks. Results showed that the bi-weekly irinotecan regimen was safe and effective, with 45.8% of patients completing at least 6 cycles of treatment. The researchers concluded that this regimen could be a convenient option for the 2nd- and 3rd-line treatment of advanced stage SCLC. [Extracted from the article]
