Abstrakt:	Researchers at Baylor University College of Medicine conducted a case study on an 11-year-old female with anti-GAD 65 encephalitis presenting as New-Onset Refractory Status Epilepticus (NORSE). The patient showed minimal response to standard anti-seizure medications and first-line immunotherapies but improved after receiving intrathecal dexamethasone (IT-DEX) in conjunction with rituximab. The study suggests that IT-DEX may be an effective early intervention for refractory status epilepticus from various causes.
