Abstrakt: Retinoblastoma (RB) is the most common intraocular malignancy of childhood. Advanced stage presentation of RB is common in low middle-income countries (LMICs) due to lack of awareness, social taboos associated with enucleation, seeking alternative conservative treatment options, and poor accessibility to health care. Over the last few decades, there have been significant advancements in the management of extraocular RB (EORB) which have improved outcomes and helped in minimizing treatment-related toxicities. The incorporation of multimodality approaches including chemotherapy, surgery, and radiotherapy (RT) has shown promising results; however, prognosis remains poor especially in LMICs. In this article, authors have discussed the ICMR consensus guidelines on the management of EORB, including metastatic RB. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
