Abstrakt: This study sought to provide a comprehensive exploration of the implementation of crime prevention plans, programs, and activities (CPPPA) by Philippine National Police (PNP) personnel, with a specific focus on four individuals from the Tacurong City Police Office. Purposive sampling was used to select the participants of the stucy. Additionally, utilizing a multiple case study approach within the qualitative research framework, the investigation identified three central themes: experiences, coping mechanisms, and insights gained during CPPPA implementation. Within the theme of experiences, the study brought to light three sub-themes. Despite encountering challenges and difficulties in the implementation process, PNP personnel derived happiness and fulfillment from their involvement in community activities. Notably, the study underscored the significance of community partnerships as a crucial element for effective crime prevention efforts. Transitioning to the challenges faced, three sub-themes emerged. Mistrust from certain community segments posed obstacles, hindering the efforts of PNP personnel. Additionally, the lack of support in specific instances presented challenges to the successful implementation of CPPPA. Furthermore, issues related to self-image impacted the effectiveness of crime prevention initiatives. In terms of insights, the study uncovered three sub-themes. Effective communication was highlighted as a pivotal factor for successful CPPPA implementation. The emphasis on adhering to orders and protocols emerged as a key consideration for ensuring the effectiveness of crime prevention efforts. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
