The article presents a comparative analysis of different species of Sariva plants using high-performance thin-layer chromatography (HPTLC) profiling and antioxidant activity. It examines vanillin contents in the Sariva species Hemidesmus indicus, Decalepsis hamiltonii, Ichnocarpus frutescence and Cryptolepsi buchananii. It assesses the antioxidant ability of Sariva drugs using free radical scavenging assays and suggests the potential of vanillin to prevent oxidative stress-related diseases. |
