Abstrakt: Road transportation networks are highly vulnerable to natural hazards, especially hydrological hazards. Damages to transportation networks due to hydrological hazards have been recorded in many countries. Modeling and evaluating the resilience of transportation networks subjected to hydrological hazards have recently raised significant interest among researchers. However, a comprehensive literature review on the topic is still lacking. As such, this paper presents a review of recent resilience studies for road transportation networks under hydrological hazards. Various sources of hydrological hazards in resilience studies are concluded in this review with corresponding models that can generate inundation depth for the networks. Adverse impacts due to hazards are differentiated into two categories— structural damage and functionality loss. The resilience evaluation models are discussed to understand the assessment approaches and indicators that have been adopted in recent studies. Furthermore, the resilience studies focused on improvement strategies are described in detail, including the mitigation, relief, and restoration strategies in different phases of hazards. The paper concludes by summarizing the contributions and limitations of recent studies and providing a possible direction for resilience analysis in the future. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
