Abstrakt: The paper describes an innovative solution for the suspension system of the Scorpio 7 Martian rover, developed based on the previous generation of the vehicle – Scorpio X. The machine was intended to participate in Martian rover competitions from the Rover Challenge series. The document presents an analysis of the parameters characterising the discussed suspension system, with heavy emphasis on the mass of the platform, deflection under working conditions, amount of space required and angular positions of paramount components.
