This document is a response letter to an article titled "Traditional Chinese Rehabilitation Exercise (TCRE) for Myofascial Pain: Current Evidence and Future Challenges." The authors of the response letter commend the original authors for their comprehensive overview of the benefits of TCRE in rehabilitating elderly individuals and managing pain associated with long COVID. However, they note that the original article primarily focuses on the efficacy of TCRE in the elderly population and does not highlight its effects on younger populations. The authors argue that including clinical studies focused on younger individuals would enhance the comprehensiveness and rigor of the narrative. They provide examples of studies that demonstrate the advantages of TCRE for young people, including its impact on physical fitness in college students and its effectiveness in reducing menstrual symptoms among international students. The authors conclude that incorporating these studies into the article would provide readers with a more comprehensive perspective on the potential applicability of TCRE in different age groups and populations. They emphasize the importance of continuously improving the quality of research and refining studies across different demographics to promote further exploration and refinement in clinical practice.
