A study conducted by researchers at Riphah International University in Faisalabad, Pakistan, explored the use of solid lipid nanoparticles (SLN) containing hyaluronic acid and tretinoin for the topical treatment of skin conditions. The researchers prepared and characterized the SLN formulation, confirming the incorporation of hyaluronic acid and tretinoin. Clinical studies on human volunteers showed that the SLN improved skin conditions, specifically reducing wrinkles, in 90% of participants after four weeks of treatment. The study suggests that hyaluronic acid has potential for the development of SLN for cosmetic formulations, particularly for skin applications. [Extracted from the article] |
