Researchers from the University of Jember in Indonesia have conducted a study on the performance evaluation of green supply chain management in a canned fish production unit. The study focused on CV. Pasific Harvest Surabaya, a fish canning industry in Banyuwangi Regency, which faces challenges such as declining raw material supply, lack of measurement and planning for energy, fuel, and water consumption, and inadequate environmental training for workers. The researchers collected data through various methods and found that the company manages three supply chain flows with four actors. The study concluded that there are areas for improvement in packaging time, handling customer complaints, and environmental training for workers. [Extracted from the article] |
