Researchers from the Indian Institute of Technology at Banaras Hindu University conducted a study to evaluate the safety profile of a polyherbal formulation called Stress WIN, which is used for the management of hypertension. The study involved administering different doses of Stress WIN to Wistar rats for 28 days and assessing various parameters. The results showed that Stress WIN supplementation did not cause any significant side effects or alterations in the rats' organs. The researchers concluded that Stress WIN has a high safety profile and does not exhibit sub-acute toxicity at doses up to 2000 mg/kg/day. [Extracted from the article] |
