A recent study conducted by the Department of Rehabilitation explored the relationship between nutritional status and neurodevelopmental levels in infants at high risk of cerebral palsy (CP). The study found that undernutrition and neurodevelopmental delays were prevalent among these infants, with worse nutritional status being correlated with lower neurodevelopmental levels. The research highlights the importance of nutrition in neurodevelopment and suggests that addressing undernutrition may help improve outcomes for infants at high risk of CP.
