Abstrakt: A recent study conducted at King Fahd Medical City in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, aimed to assess the knowledge and proficiency of 199 staff nurses regarding the Glasgow Coma Scale (GCS), which is used to assess traumatic brain injury. The results showed that 81.4% of nurses had an average level of GCS knowledge, with only 13.6% demonstrating good knowledge and 5% having poor knowledge. The study concluded that there is a need for continuous education programs to enhance nurses' competence in GCS assessment. This research provides valuable insights into the current state of GCS knowledge among nurses in Saudi Arabia. [Extracted from the article]
