Abstrakt: The world's most cherished resource is no longer oil or gold, in the 21st century, data has become akin to precious resource. [1.] With quintillions of bytes generated daily, the exponential growth of the data universe, driven by quantum computing and Artificial Intelligence (AI) offers a pivotal solution to tackle the challenges of processing and analyzing this massive information influx efficiently. While AI facilitates unprecedented advancements in data handling, it concurrently amplifies concerns related to privacy infringement & ironically in this lucrative century of data as gold, Right to Privacy is a fundamental right. Re-identification, de-anonymization, Deepfake, and Cyber threats are the significant concerns posed by application of AI, having direct or indirect impact on right to privacy. This paper explores the complex issues surrounding privacy in the age of AI emphasizing the need for responsible and trustworthy AI development and deployment. Harmonizing the innovation in field of AI while safeguarding individual privacy and human rights appears as the vital aim of this paper. To tackle these challenges efficiently, the study recommends robust data regulations within India, drawing inspiration from global standards like the GDPR, California Consumer Privacy Act, UK Investigatory scheme act, etc. By applying these legal principles wisely, this paper offers a comprehensive insights and solutions to address the growing privacy concerns in today's digital world dominated by big data and AI systems.
