Adults and young people accessing Melbourne City Mission's (MCM) youth and adult-focused homelessness programs often do so with dependent children. While there has been a growing focus on supporting the wellbeing of children in family violence refuges, the babies, toddlers, and children of young people in the youth homelessness system have been neglected by government policy and a dedicated response.
