Abstrakt: This text explores the relationship between liturgy, sacraments, and virtue ethics. It discusses three different approaches to understanding how liturgy and sacraments shape moral character and guide ethical behavior. The first approach emphasizes the normative dimension of Christian practices and their role in addressing human needs. The second approach, known as narrative ethics, focuses on how liturgy and sacraments shape moral identity through the performance of the Christian story. The third approach views sacraments as the realization of the human telos, or ultimate goal, and emphasizes the eschatological dimension of Christian ethics. The text argues that while virtue is important, the ultimate goal of Christian life is participation in the holiness of God. [Extracted from the article]
