The article titled "Exploring clay formation in the seabed of Colachel coastal area, southern Tamil Nadu, India: a geophysical and granulometric analysis" has been retracted by the Editors-in-Chief of Marine Geophysical Research. The retraction was due to evidence suggesting compromised peer review, leading to a loss of confidence in the results and conclusions presented in the article. The authors mentioned in the retraction note have not responded to correspondence from the Publisher.
